Belvin Doebbert is an experienced and effective general practitioner. In addition to his many years as a lawyer, Mr. Doebbert has also farmed, has served extensively as staff to the Minnesota Legislature, has developed and sold commercial and lakeshore real estate, and has worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He has also had the honor of serving as Pope County Attorney since 1994.

Mr. Doebbert earned his undergraduate degree at Augsburg College, graduating in 1976. He earned his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law while working full time at the Minnesota Legislature. He graduated, and was admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Minnesota in 1983. He has served state and local bar associations in a number of leadership positions, and has served as faculty for continuing legal education programs at least annually since 1994.

A fifth generation native of the area, Mr. Doebbert and his family live on Lake Reno, between Glenwood and Alexandria. His wife, JoEllen, also practices law in both cities. Mr. Doebbert has many and varied interests, serving on the governing bodies of numerous religious, civic, and cultural organizations. He has served as a short term missionary in Senegal, West Africa, and has furnished volunteer labor for a project sponsored by Habitat for Humanity in Honduras. Mr. Doebbert is committed to economic growth and community integrity in the Glenwood area. He has organized and guided a successful initiative to bring commercially competitive broad band internet services to the community and remains eager to assist those who wish to locate or do business in the area or otherwise share his desire for the continued economic vitality of the Minnewaska valley and the Glenwood-Alexandria area.

Chad Larson

Chad Larson is an energetic trial lawyer possessing a wealth of practical experience to supplement the legal skills he delivers in his rapidly growing appellate, litigation, and personal legal services practice. Before commencing his practice, he interned with the Minnesota Court of Appeals, served as a Mutual Funds Transfer Agent for American Express Financial Advisors, and a travel logistics coordinator for a number of high profile clients, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Cleveland Indians.

A native of the area, Mr. Larson makes his home in Alexandria where his wife pursues a career as a registered nurse. He is an avid golfer and devoted family man. Chad earned his bachelors degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1994 and his Juris Doctorate from the Hamline University School of Law in 2000. He was admitted to practice in Minnesota in 2000, and the United States Federal Court, District of Minnesota, in 2003. He is active with the 8th district Bar Association, and is a member of the Minnewaska Golf Club.
